Mike specializes in the sales and leasing of retail properties. He represents tenants and owners in the Greater Washington, DC metropolitan area. Mike’s role is sourcing new business opportunities, facilitating the needs of existing retail clients and directing the activities of the emerging retail division of ROSSI CRE.
Over the past 15 years Mike has been a part of the leasing of over 20 centers. This included creating a viable leasing plan, conducting market surveys and identifying and targeting prospective Tenants. Mike has represented Landlords, from publicly held companies to regional and local Landlords. Mike has also represented all types of retail tenants, from boutiques to restaurants and local vendors to national clients. He has assisted these clients with their site selection, lease negotiations and execution and post-transaction follow-up and continued service.
Prior to commercial real estate Mike managed a restaurant/club for seven years. For the nine years prior, he was in sales and the marketing sales manager of a local logistics company. During this period, Mike was instrumental in capturing a 700% increase in sales. Clients consisted of national and local accounts.
Mike is an active member of ICSC. He assisted on the committee for the 2005 Mid Atlantic ICSC conference.
He has earned degrees in Mathematics and Finance from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania and is currently working towards obtaining his CCIM certificate.
