Gary specializes in landlord representation by providing property owners with market insight, tenant coordination services and the creation of marketing plans to lease office, medical, flex, and industrial properties. Gary’s primary area of focus for landlord representation is Montgomery County, Maryland. However, he has successfully leased properties throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He also provides tenant advisory services to businesses and organizations throughout the Washington, DC/Baltimore market who are seeking to relocate, renew, expand and/or evaluate their commercial real estate situation.

Gary brings over 25 years of commercial real estate knowledge gained through his experience with landlord and tenant representation, acquisition and disposition of properties, office and retail development and also providing property management services.

During his career Gary has been fortunate to be part of several exciting projects. Some of these include:

The development, leasing, management and disposition of the commercial properties within the King Farm in Rockville, MD. This included 750,000 square feet of office space and 120,000 square feet of retail space situated on approximately 90 acres in the 430 acre mixed-use community.

National representation of the American Red Cross in the acquisition and disposition of their real estate portfolio.

Representation of Equitable Life Assurance for the leasing of their 600,000 sf portfolio in Rockville and Gaithersburg, Maryland. The portfolio had an occupancy rate below 15% when Gary was assigned to the project and in less than 24 months, the portfolio was over 95% leased.

Gary served as the Chairman of the New Building Committee for VisArts in Rockville, Maryland, helping the non-profit organization construct a new 15,000 square foot visual arts center in the Rockville Town Centre development. He currently serves as a board member on the Gaithersburg Police Foundation.

EDUCATION

Gary graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1987 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance.
