Touring the new Germantown Holy Cross Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 21st was picture perfect. The community came out in large numbers to enjoy the hospitality of the Holy Cross staff. Health-related presentation tables encircled the tent to help the folks know of the new services offered in Germantown once the hospital opens on October 1st 2014. ROSSI Commercial Real Estate was represented by Catherine Rossi who toured the facility admiring the scope of services from the full-service emergency department, maternity suites and dedication to seniors.
According to the Holy Cross Health website, the Germantown Holy Cross Hospital will be the first new hospital opening in Montgomery County, Maryland in 35 years. It will consist of a 237,000 square-foot hospital meeting LEED Gold standards and boast the most up-to-date medical technology in its state-of-the-art emergency department; and medical, surgical, maternity and behavioral health services. It has been designed to include elements that promote clinical excellence and provide the most positive healing environment, such as all private rooms with 24/7 visitation, and a tranquil garden.
The new full-service hospital is conveniently located off of I-270 at Observation Drive, at the intersection of Middlebrook Road, in Germantown, MD., accessible by public transportation services.
